Joyce is the back-of-the-house magic, her speciality is daily operations. With extensive experience
in multiple start-ups, Joyce is essential in making sure the business and all its necessary
requirements and licenses are in order. She is also our HR and liaison with attorney’s and
accountants and regulatory agencies. When she is not driving her desk, she is quite the deck hand
on the vessel too!
Allie Hawkins
All ocean waves have led me to this next evolution in my career. As a boating enthusiast, I have structured my life to bring me to this point. I am a lover of all things maritime, whether it's learning the intricacies of sailing, being mesmerized by dolphins or sailing gently under the Golden Gate Bridge, it is my absolute passion to be out on the water.
For the past 25+ years, I have run Charter companies, bought and sold several boats, lived on a Trimaran, been a Wedding Photographer on the beaches of North Carolina and San Diego, Ca owned a chartering company in San Diego and Tiburon, CA and basically been a mermaid my whole life so when the opportunity to purchase Bay Lights Charters came into my life, I couldn't say no.
As an avid boater for more than 25+ years, I know I am right where I belong and living my dream. It all started in the early ’90s when I had an opportunity to live on a 50-foot Trimaran in San Diego. From the moment I stepped onboard I fell in LOVE with not only the boating lifestyle but all the like-minded people I’ve met who share my passion for all things on the water.
Since then I have not been without a boat and can’t imagine life without being on the water. It is with this foundation of boating and passion for the sea that I know I am doing exactly what I was meant to do by being a part of the stunning "GasLight" 72' Schooner and building our fleet to encompass other boats and reach new Clients.
