GAS LIGHT is fashioned after the famous San Francisco scow schooners that sailed in the late 1800’s. She is a modern replica of those nostalgic sailing ships. Bay Lights Charters offers a one-of-a-kind experience for all guests on board. Gas Light is 72 feet of modern, yet classic design that provides a warm, comfortable, and stable ride for Weddings on San Francisco Bay, corporate events or private parties of up to 49 people.
If you decide to host your wedding ceremony and reception aboard Gas Light, our Captain will perform your ceremony and have you and your partner “tie-the-knot” in front of your most cherished family and friends while sailing past the world famous sites of San Francisco. If you you ask us it just doesn’t get any more romantic than that! You are more than welcome to bring your own officiant to perform your ceremony.
Maybe you already have a ceremony location picked out… that works too! Why not plan to join us for the reception? Again, the crew of Bay Lights Charters will do all the work for you! No need for a big flower budget, the boat is beautiful as-is. You can create your own play list and use our state- of-the-art stereo system of have a band if you want! You are welcome to bring your own catering or we can provide the food for you. Just let our booking concierge know what you have in mind and we will do everything in our power to make your dream wedding come true. We have several wedding packages for you to choose from or create your own custom wedding sail. There are just so many options available to you!
